On April 12, in a Rose Garden in Fresno, CA - Carol Hagen became Mrs. Joe Hannah as the two of us were married in God's great outdoors. The wedding had a western flair, as the wedding party (and many guests) came in denim and boots - even the preachers! Our 8 children sang the hymn "Savior, Like a Shepherd Lead Us". 17 of our 18 grandchildren were there and escorted us in at the start of the ceremony. It was a wonderful, fun day and we both feel very blessed to have found each other.
At Carol's request, THE SONS OF THE SAN JOAQUIN sang "Is It Because This Cowboy's In Love With You?" We have a lovely, small home in Visalia and Carol is becoming acquainted with her new surroundings, having lived in Fresno for 15 years. I now have a partner again to share my life and we are enjoying a loving companionship, life with THE SONS, our church and friends, and mostly our large, wonderful blended family!
